Are these real, qualified doctors?
Every practitioner is registered with the relevant authority — the Sri Lanka Medical Council for doctors and dentists, the Ayurvedic Medical Council for Ayurveda — and verified by our team before a patient can book them.
Who runs Nombara?
Nombara is built and operated by Naaz Global Corporation (Pvt) Ltd, a registered Sri Lankan company based in Akurana, Kandy — built for local clinics, doctor by doctor.
What happens to my details?
Your information travels over encrypted connections, is kept to the minimum we need, and is never sold. Read our privacy policy.
Do I need a smartphone?
No. The dispensary reception can book your token for you, and you'll get the details by SMS.

Common questions.
How does the live token work?
When you book, you get a token number. The app shows which number the doctor is serving right now and how many people are ahead of you, updating live — so you know exactly when to leave home.
Do I have to pay through the app?
No. Nombara never takes a card payment and has no in-app purchases. The booking fee and the doctor's fee are paid in cash at the dispensary counter.
Can I book for my family?
Yes. One account can hold profiles for your parents, children and yourself.
Can I cancel a booking?
Yes — open My queues in the app, tap the token and cancel. Please cancel if you can't come, so the slot goes to someone else.
What if I don't have a smartphone?
The dispensary reception can book your token for you. You'll receive the doctor, token number and time by SMS.
Are the doctors verified?
Yes. Every doctor, dentist and Ayurveda practitioner is registered with the relevant authority and verified by our team before they appear on Nombara.
How do I delete my account?
In the app: menu → Delete my account. Or see the account deletion page to ask us by email.
Is Nombara a medical service?
No. Nombara is a booking and queue service only. It does not give medical advice, diagnoses or triage. In an emergency, call 1990 (Suwa Seriya) or go to the nearest hospital.
